Yamada will be integrally involved in the development planning and localization process for products related to CompanyA Japan. Yamada will be responsible for understanding product roadmap/development plans and for interaction with global product development groups in order to effectively manage localization and implementation/rollout issues in Japan, along with APLA’s Director, Product Planning and Marketing (John ). Yamada was a member of the Sony Engineering team that developed the original Insight meter for A services and has been with CompanyA Engineering since 2000. He is a member of the CompanyA Japan Board and has been solely responsible for Japan’s Engineering and Operations since 2004. All members of the APLA financial team report into James, while James reports directly to Leslie Benson in Milpitas. Wishing James good luck in his new role, we hope to confirm his promotion in the near future. Second, we welcome Liping Li, Assistant Accountant, to CompanyA. Liping has over five years experience in financial accounting, obtained in various industries in Australia. In her most recent role, she was Assistant Accountant with multi-national company Alberto Culver. Liping holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, a postgraduate diploma in Accounting from Macquarie University and she is currently studying toward obtaining her CPA qualification. Liping started with us on Monday 9 January, she reports to James Tsangaris and is based in Sydney.
